Artist Statement

Landscape, Still Life, En Plein Air, Abstract and Studio Artist.

Painting is such a gratifying creative expression that not only takes me places, but it helps me to see those places with a more critical eye.

Growth happens every time I paint. A connection is made and a sensitivity to my subject develops. It is so satisfying to begin with an idea, an inspiration and a blank canvas to produce a representation that speaks to me and hopefully to others.
